2008 Summer Instructional League

General Information
- Each team will have a qualified club level coach assigned to their team for practices and matches.
- Participants will be taught the basics and fundamentals of the game: passing, setting, hitting, serving. Then will quickly move to rotations, defense, court awareness and team-work.
- This will be a very “instructive” league for all participants with no added pressures, except to learn through positive reinforcement, repetition and execution.
- EVERYONE GETS TO PLAY!!!! This is part of their positive reinforcement, to be able to use what they have learned.
- First practice will be a training session only for all age groups! Scrimmages will start on the second practice date.
- Each Team will practice and scrimmage for 5 weeks and conclude with a tournament on July 12/13. Awards will be given to ALL participants at the end of the tournament. Please be advised that the *tournament is pending enough teams are registered in any age group, otherwise their 5th week practice will conclude the summer league program.
- Players may NOT play up in any age group without prior club approval. We want this league to be competitive and fun for all participants.
- An “Individual Player Registration” form must be filled out by each player. Even if you are submitting an entire team. Team Rosters will not be accepted unless all individual forms are on file. If submitting an entire team, your roster will be FINAL once submitted. If your roster does not have 9-12 players then we will fill your roster with individual applicants that sign up to participate.
- Each team will have and will be assigned 9-12 players.
- High School Rules will be applied.
- Fees include: coaching, gym rental, t-shirts and awards.
- DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS JUNE 3rd !!!!!
No refunds offered after June 3rd . NO EXCEPTIONS, unless
an age group or team doesn’t’ make
Practices will be mostly be at SAC but we will also use
Good Shephard Lutheran Church, FEAST and Legacy MS.

**Please note that the above days and times for each age group are tentative ONLY and could change based on the number of registered participants and/or teams and tournament is also tentative and dependent on the # of teams.
