2011 "Instructional" league
We are taking registrations for our 2011 Instructional League. Focus is on "Instruction and Fundamentals"
for the sport of volleyball in a controlled, FAST-paced, fun and encouraging, non-threatening yet
competitive environment. We will teach the basics of:
proper passing, hitting, team coverage, defense, hitting and serving overhand.
This is for the true beginner and novice.
Ages are geared for 4th, 5th and 6th graders BUT can accomodate 7th and 8th graders
looking to learn the sport and wanting to try out for their school teams next school year.
We offer regular practices with scrimmages/game time if there are enough teams or can hold
inner-team scrimmages so that they put into place what they have learned in game like scenarios.
Instructors are current and former Club coaches and include former players,
collegiate players, High-School and Middle School coaches.
START DATE: APRIL 18-19th
END DATE: 6 WEEKS LONG (MAY 26th)
5COST: $175
TIMES: 6:00-7:30 and 7:30-9:00 (with the possibility of extending to 2 hour sessions)
